iBook Apple laptop is a line of Apple laptops that were sold between 1999 and 2006, when the famous MAcBook was released. This line of Apple laptops was especially created at lower prices and with fewer specifications than what the previous PowerBook lien offered, as it was destined to the education and consumer market. During its years of resistance, there were three different models taken out on the market.
The models it offered back then were the iBOok G3, iBook G3 Dual USB and the iBook G4. iBook Apple laptop was constructed in such a way that it has both many lovers but as well many critics. The design it had was influenced by the iMac but that it is what actually made it be less appreciated than any other laptops Apple has released so far. Apart from this unhappy situation, it was the first laptop computer ever designed back then that had a wireless integrated system.
After suffering some improvements in the processor, memory, hard disks upgrades and even colors, it became a real success and was sold very well. Anyhow, the issue of the colors actually drew those from Apple backwards, as not every color had the same demand. This was a lesson to learn and something never to repeat again.

The next iBook Apple laptop in lien was issues in 2001, named the same, and what it brought as a novelty was the dual USB. It had a quite different design, going back to the normal standards of a “laptop” and it was believed to be more durable than the previous. Its white polycarbonate casings have begun with this model.
The last in line was the iBook G4, 2003 which had suffered modifications until 2005; it allowed installation of the Airport card and as well, of additional memory. iBook G4 adopts some of the PowerBooks’ design details. As an example one may see the latch that holds the lid closed retracts when the lid is open, and the battery includes a built-in power-level indicator. It comes with a screen that is believed to be too small for watching movies, but one can add a TV adapter cable and transform the iBook into your TV DVD player. It came as well with a faster processor and a better lasting battery.

The Apple G3 iBooks proved to be by far the Apple computers of all times. More than a half, required logic boards replacements, which is why Apple started its warranty extension program for some versions, but not for all.
This was a good trail version, for what was about to be released on the market. As Apple played its cards well, it had all the necessary elements to gain.
